Sailing Shirt… a story in a garment…

All of our garments have a story.  Some of the stories are longer and more personal and this one happens to be one of the deepest stories of them all.  The sailing shirt was the first design Sloop and Barbara sold out of the shop in 1989, so this shirt is the marker of the beginning of all of stories…  Sloop has decided to bring back this beautiful design and share it with us again.  The flowing waves throughout the shirt are reminiscent of the sails and waves that Sloop fell in love with here in the Caribbean sun in the very beginning.  Take a stroll down memory lane with us and have a little piece of history with your very own sailing shirt.  This design is offered in women’s spaghetti string tank tops, women’s cap sleeve T’s, women’s V necks T’s and men’s crew neck T’s.   Please remember every piece is a work of art so no piece will be exactly the same.  These are all hand painted on East End of St. John as they were back in 1989.  Some things are never meant to change and this is what makes them beautiful.
